As we supply to a global market, it is not always economical to transport people and materials from the factory over long distances to job sites where they may have to wait on other trades. However, in Macau and Hong Kong, supply and install services are readily available, and in certain situations in North America, factory installation support is available.

It is recommended that our GRG and GRC-EP products be installed by the drywall or carpentry trades in North America and the plasterboard trade elsewhere. GRG and GRC-EP is specified in North America under Section 9. Our pre-finished QuarryCast® and MetalCast® products are best installed by finish carpenters, mill workers or shop fitters. QuarryCast® and MetalCast® is specified in North America under Section 6. Please see installation under each material category to find out which trade is preferable. If you are in an area where we have representation, our local representative should be able to help you work with the appropriate installers.

Prices are quoted on a project-by-project basis. As a custom manufacturer, price is normally comprised of tooling and material costs.

On the North American Continent and in the Hong Kong and Macau area, GRG and GRC-EP are shipped uncrated in furniture moving vans. Our materials typically arrive at job sites after the building is closed in. Our uncrated materials eliminate packaging to be opened and disposed of, and may be unloaded and taken directly to where they are required on the site. Our pre-finished QuarryCast® and MetalCast® products are crated for optimum protection.

For overseas shipments, all materials are crated and either containerized by Formglas if the volume permits, or consolidated by the forwarders to meet our customer’s requirements.
